Meet the Board | Megan

 Hello!

My name is Megan, and I’m the co-owner of Damn Fine Pizza located on the Port Orchard waterfront, which I run alongside my partner, Keyan. I grew up in Kitsap County working in local restaurants as a teenager before spending a decade managing bars in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. After years of a long commute and immersion in a vibrant, community-driven bar scene, I was inspired to bring that same sense of connection, creativity, and quality back home.

As long-time Port Orchard residents, we saw a clear opportunity to create a true neighborhood gathering space; one centered on great food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. Since opening in June 2023, Damn Fine Pizza has been warmly supported by the Port Orchard community and beyond. We host weekly trivia nights, monthly drag shows, and occasional live music, creating opportunities for people to connect in a town where we’re often quite spread out.

I have a lifelong love of music and alternative culture, paired with a deep passion for cooking and craft cocktails. These influences shape our business and help us offer something a little different from traditional restaurants. My experience in working the Georgetown neighborhood taught me the value of investing in local talent, suppliers, and ideas—and that strong communities are built by the people who show up for each other.

As a board member of the Port Orchard Waterfront Association I hope to contribute creative ideas, collaborate with fellow merchants, and help strengthen and support the small business community that makes our waterfront thrive.
